Welcome home.
Bienvenido a casa.
Whether you've prayed here for years or are stepping through our doors for the very first time, there is a place for you at St. Mary. We'd be honored to walk alongside you.
You belong here
We're so glad you're considering St. Mary as your parish home.
Registering with the parish is simply a way of saying, "I'm part of this family." It helps us know you by name, walk with you through the milestones of life — baptisms, First Communions, weddings, and the quiet moments in between — and reach out whenever we can be of help. There is no pressure and no rush.
Here at St. Mary we believe that you can have a true and real encounter with Jesus Christ. Come and see.
Our doors are usually open before Mass begins. Introduce yourself to anyone wearing a smile — ushers, greeters, fellow parishioners — and don't hesitate to ask how to get connected. We are a bilingual community, and you'll find a home here whether you worship in English or en español.
Getting started
Three simple ways to begin
Pick whichever feels right for you. Every path leads to the same warm welcome.
One
Register online
The quickest way in — a short form you can fill out from anywhere in about five minutes.
Two
Stop by the office
We'd love to meet you face to face. Swing by during office hours and we'll help you register in person.
Three
Simply come to Mass
Not ready to register? That's okay. Join us in prayer first — you're welcome at any liturgy.

New to Mass?
Come as you are — we'll help with the rest.
If you've never been to Mass, or it's simply been a while, we're delighted you're here. It's okay if some parts feel unfamiliar at first — no one expects you to know every response or when to stand and sit. Just come, pray, and let the rhythm of the liturgy carry you.
Arrive a few minutes early if you can, sit wherever feels comfortable, and know that the most important thing is simply that you came.

little about membership
Live nearby? You may already be one of us.
Within the Diocese of Rockford, parish membership follows neighborhood boundaries. If you're a Catholic living inside St. Mary's boundaries, you're automatically part of our parish — and we'd still love for you to register so we can stay in touch.
And if you live outside our boundaries but feel at home worshipping here? You are every bit as welcome. You have three options:
- Simply join us. Come to Mass and enter into the life of the parish — no paperwork required.
- Register with us. You're welcome to register here, with the understanding that, under Church law, your official parish remains the one whose boundaries you live in.
- Make it official. To formally transfer your membership, a short letter to the Bishop is needed. Our pastor would be glad to walk you through it — just reach out.

We'd love to meet you.

A Note on Photos
From time to time we take photos during parish activities for our bulletin, website, and other parish communications. If you'd prefer not to appear in these photos — or you'd like one already published to be removed — just let the parish office know, and we'll take care of it.
